MBBS COURSE DURATION

Course Duration (6-Year Model)

To meet international licensing requirements (specifically the NMC FMGL Regulations), most top medical universities in Uzbekistan have standardized a 6-year duration.

Academic Study (5 Years): The first five years are dedicated to theoretical knowledge, laboratory work, and clinical exposure.
Mandatory Internship (1 Year): The 6th year consists of a full-time clinical internship in university-affiliated hospitals. This hands-on training is vital for students to be eligible for licensing exams like NExT (India) or PLAB (UK).

Medium of Instruction

English Medium: Most universities offer the entire 6-year course in English for international students.

Local Language: While the teaching is in English, students are usually taught basic Uzbek or Russian in the first two years to help them communicate with patients during clinical rotations in later years.

Eligibility Criteria: NSR Medical Organization (MBBS 2026)

To secure admission for MBBS through NSR Medical Organization, candidates must fulfill the following academic and regulatory requirements:

1. Academic Qualifications

10+2 Requirement: Candidates must have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Minimum Marks: A minimum score of 50% in 12th grade is required for general category students.

Subject Prerequisites: The primary subjects in the 10+2 curriculum must include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), along with English.

2. Age Requirement

Minimum Age: The candidate must be at least 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2026.

3. Competitive Exams (For Indian Students)

NEET UG Clearance: Appearing for and clearing the NEET UG exam is mandatory if the student wishes to practice medicine in India after completing their degree abroad.
Scorecard Validity: The NEET scorecard used for admission should not be older than 3 years.
